    Hi guys,

First of all, very much sorry for your loss. I only knew about it last week after I noticed I’m not getting any podcast updates.

For the topic of the show, well you certainly did go into different areas, but all are worthy and useful. Thank you once again for a wonderful podcast. Our majlis was really a joke last time. It has always been a joke, but last time was an extreme. Frankly, the only thing they would agree on is stuff like salary increase. Other than that:

1- Valentine day is not allowed
2- No mixed college or schools. I am surprised you say it’s not applied yet. It’s not 100%, but in classes at college, it is, and students are going through hell from it. No open classes for men, empty women classes. One of those Islamic bearded Prof came objecting “Why don’t I get female sections only male ones?” Well, … go figure…
    3- qoroth
4- Diwawin was the biggest joke that simply tells every citizen, screw the law! What’s more funny is, as you said, the same guy is strong against removing diwaniyas, after they were given a break, he thanked the prime minister and all for his decision, and then at the same day he is talking about enforcing more restrictions on public parties! Don’t you feel shy saying this? If I were you I would remain silent for a month.
5- Salary increase: Thank you. We are still waiting for the 120 KD increase, and 50% market price increase already taking place. That was helpful.

As to why they didn’t discuss the new mortgage law, I’m not sure, but I think it’s better they didn’t, as they would agree on it anyways.

Bashar: Thanks for the comment as always. It is sad indeed to always criticize a country that you love so much, but when you look at people who you think they care about it more than anything or anyone else yet in reality they probably careless, then the one thing we can do is talk and hope someone really cares might listen.
I mean Kuwait for us is more end of the month money pocket or source of income; it is our pride our history our future and that’s why when some non-sense member of the parliament or the government in that regard speaks of all Kuwaitis you come to a point of what the heck is happening……
Do we really love this land, do we really care about its future, are we preserving our past, are we building our economy with measured steps??? We many questions, so little answers…….
My heart and yours is not crying I say, it is bleeding because of what’s happening in Kuwait. I understand that Dinar Chat is suppose to be a business oriented podcast, but a bit of politics is necessary.
PEOPLE GO AND VOTE FOR THE RIGHT PEOPLE. Religion beliefs, race, tribe not important….. KUWAIT IS VERY IMPORTANT…. God bless Kuwait…..

q8shabab: Thanks for a very valuable comment indeed. I totally understand that some part of the government is not as strong as it should and this is what I mentioned in my reply comment to Bashar, but if you have a parliament that has nothing in life to do except check on every party we have here Kuwait and every singer we bring and every school teacher we hire and every outfit we wear and every movie we play and every thought we have and then go after some minister to blame for all of the above, then basically our government life span is less than 3 months.
To me give the government some time to understand the rules, give them some trust to make changes and if we disagree let’s sit down and discuss the differences before we raise the questioning right that the parliament member enjoy where I am certain most of them don’t know what we as people of this country have as rights.
We can sit down and argue forever while others build new civilizations in the region. I think we have had enough from both sides and the time is now to either make history or be history. Thanks once again and god bless Kuwait…..
