Bedoor: As always, it’s nice to hear from you and we at Dinar Chat are glad that you found our topic not only entertaining but also benefiting. As for your jam3eya plans, now remember it’s a great idea if you and your friends can actually work this collected money in a small project let’s say for few months and try to increase it even by 10% before you start your circle of distribution!!! As for the books you asked for, I recommend the following:
1- Seven Secrets of Successful Women: Success Strategies of the Women Who Have Made It - And How You Can Follow Their Lead, 2- The Enterprising Woman, 3- Guide to Investing Success, 4- Money Smart Women.
The first step to start a part-time job is RESEARCH and STRATEGY. Meaning do you really enjoy what you might do as a part-time? Or is it only a way to make a few bucks?….Good luck and keep up the good spirit.

thaanks Dr BoRashid .. well i think the jam3eya plan is gona be like an option after getting a job of course and it’ll be great i guess .. but i need to trust those ppl :PpP hehehe * having trust issues* lool …. annnnd thanks alot about the books i’ll make sure to get them as soon as possible ;* they sound like what im looking for ..
about the part time job .. well i really enjoy working with graphics as a part time job and i really want to .. bas i dont want to say that i gave up finding the place .. cuz i didnt till now bas i might :/ ..

its like the guide of advertising agencies in middle east countries .. checked kuwait of course and they are pretty nice places .. but all of them wont hire a self-taught person you know what i mean .. so i thought of making it for like ordinary ppl .. you for example needing a logo for your new bussiness with Ali & Musaed

i faced the same problem when ppl told me to sell my painting .. * yeah i used to paint * and i was like how can i price the art work ? its not easy you know ;’/ .. at least for me ;/

Bedoor: I am glad you liked the books and hope they are useful. One way to find out how much they charge is actually by asking the designers themselves. I mean just making a few phone calls to here and there, you will get to know the average charge for a number of different designs. As I said, research is the number one key to success. As for your jam3eya plan, well you can start with us unless you don’t trust us too ;)…. Rashid is wondering somewhere in the horizon, I think…….

yeah i forgot to tell you that in my last comment .. i thought it would sound right if i went to my teacher in one of the institutes i got a course in and i ask him about the charges … cuz he is a freelancer and a designer in a company .. and he started out of nowhere and he’s a proff now
he didnt study designing …bs i guess guys are luckier than gurls in this thing .. alah ehaneekom o ewafeg el jame3 enshalah o ma7ad ra7 yakheth ta3ab qaira aked

hi guys, good job on the show, now that I learn the definition of investment trust, why not do an episode about how to select the best trust for my money, you mentioned doing a study, but what if I don’t know how to do such a study, I think this will make a good topic for a future show.

Jazzplace: Thanks for the comment. Selecting the best investment trust is actually a vital step and must be studied very well. Now in order to do such a study even if you don’t have the time or expertise, all you need is to follow up for few months the trends of all available 40+ investment trust companies in Kuwait stock market and then decide which one you invest in. I totally agree with you doing a full study is a bit difficult but following the market for few months is easy and must do step. Cheers.

Dear Ali and Dr Bo Rashid
I really appreciate your efforts and your choice of topics is excellent. On this specific podcast I wanted to correct something that I thought you said, which is that a Fund or Trust gurantees your money. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Some investments are guaranteed, but most investment funds are not. The value of your investment can go down as well as up even if the fund is very well managed. While the bank is worried about their reputation, it is possible for their funds to lose money if the stock markets are dropping.
Of course it is better for investors to invest via funds for all the other reasons you mentioned.
